Choir

Our choir takes place Tuesday evenings from 11th September, 6-7pm and is open to everyone.

Each session will include:
• a vocal warm up
• short pieces that change each week
• a longer piece that is worked on over a few sessions
• a social tea/coffee break

The choir is run by Freda De’Souza, a local singer songwriter who has been writing for and leading vocal ensembles for several years. Initially a classically trained violinist, Freda is passionate about and enjoys all forms of music. She especially enjoys the magic of how it can bring people together in wonderful ways.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment. Through mindfulness you will learn how to accept your thoughts and feelings, allowing them to come and go.  Our mindfulness classes incorporate exercises using breathing, movement, sound and guided meditation.
